Loving every second of it...

So it's been a while since I have last updated, mostly because I literally have no life anymore. I started school at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene about a month ago, and it has taken over my life! Not that it's a bad thing necessarily, but I was never a scholar, or found joy in schoolwork. I do it because I have to. So not really having much of a social life has taken a toll on me! But I can't sit here and complain about my blessings. I love that I have the oppurtunity to attend school where I do, and that in about a year and a half I will be DONE forever. It's totally worth losing a little sleep and playtime for the time being. I have been so overwhelmed lately and feeling incapable for this task, and my dad gave me some great advice that has totally helped me a TON. He told me to not think about the test next week, or the project due next monday, don't even think about TOMORROW. Think about and plan for TODAY, instead of wasting worries and stress on tomorrow or whatever lies around the corner. Instead, worry about TODAY. That way you will never be disappointed with what you accomplished, and every day you accomplish SOMETHING. Great advice that I will use the rest of my life whenever I am feeling inadequate, overwhelmed, or unfit for a challenge.

It's amazing how God has a plan for each of His children. His plan for me has unraveled beautifully before me and I can't believe how blessed I am to be living it. Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve such a wonderful life, a supportive family, born into the gospel, etc... but then I think about the fact that maybe it's not what I DID to DESERVE this life, maybe it's what I should be DOING to live up to it, and to show my gratitude for all that God has given to me so freely. I can honestly say that I am the luckiest girl in the world. I am so grateful for the chance to live this life, and to try and live it RIGHT.

With everything going on in my life right now, I can still say that I am loving every second of it. :)
